King of the North Invitational Series
Compete to become King of the North and take the crown!
Legacy of the North located in Toronto, Canada and the surrounding area of Southern Ontario is one of the largest regional legacy communities in the entire world with over 300 active members.
These players battle 3 times a year in a grueling 3 month league known as King of the North.
Any player that plays in any legacy event in one of the 15+ participating stores in Southern Ontario gains points based on tournament points. Over the course of 3 months each players 10 best event point totals are calculated and after the dust settles two final results are obtained, an over all points leader and a top 32 point leading players. The top 32 players are invited to the King of the North Invitational.
The winner of the tournament faces off against the overall league points leader in a best of 5 showdown. The winner is crowned King/Queen of the North and receives the trophy, the ring, and 3 months of free legacy event entry at each of the participating 15+ southern Ontario stores!

Current King of the North
Taking down Season 5 of our Invitational Series, Conrad Dungan earned the title of King of the North!
Conrad Dungan came to Canada from the Philippines In the summer of 2023. Since his first event here he has been an unstoppable dreadnought in the Southern Ontario Legacy circles. Making it into every invitational series near top of the leader boards, it was only a matter of time until he would be crowned King. Season 5 was more of the same domination from Conrad. He even went on a vacation for 2 weeks and still almost was points overall leader. Conrad was crowned the Season 5 King of the North after winning the Invitational and besting Adam Robinson in the Best of 5 match. Conrad is the embodiment of what a legacy player and community member should be, we are very proud of him and glad he is now one of our own!

Taking down Season 4 of our Invitational Series, Boston Schatteman earned the title of King of the North!
Boston Schatteman is Magic the Gathering juggernaut! Boston broke out onto the MTG scene in 2014 at the young age of 13 and one could tell early on that this kid had the makings of a great player. By the time he was 17 Boston was already a force to be reckoned with and was/is the end boss of almost every Southern Ontario Magic event in every format. Boston has done the impossible and been crowned King of the North in 3 times out of a possible 4, he is the Season 1, Season 3, and is the current Season 4 King of the North!
