After 5 rounds of Swiss there was a well-rounded top 8 including decks such as Infect, Moon Stompy, Stiflenaught, MUD, Eldrazi and more! The final consisted of Elliot Ritter’s Moon Stompy vs Troy Warrington’s Eldrazi. Against all the odds Troy was able to dodge those turn 1 Moons and showed Moon Stompy how to stomp! Big congratulations to Troy!

I would personally like to thank Waypoint’s employees, Tristan and Simon, who ran a very organized and enjoyable event that went off without a hitch! Waypoint Games is a great store with a wide range of high-end singles and an absolutely beautiful play space. Big windows overlooking the parking lot which providing natural light, couches for lounging after crushing your opponents, and a high level of cleanliness and organization are all features that will bring me back for future events. Speaking of future events, Vince (owner) seemed very receptive to the idea of possible proxy events in the future, so look out for that!
